The community is a group of social care colleagues who are interested in improving the quality of care in their CQC registered services. Paula Cashmore is an experienced Care Quality Consultant who will guide and inform through videos, meetings and 1:1s how best for individuals to understand the new CQC quality statements and achieve the best quality of care in their service.
This is the first community that is affordable and accessible to all levels of staff whatever their role. The resources build on a foundation and meet you where you’re at with your knowledge. It is a place to learn in your own time and put into practice ideas to suit your service.
The community is for any member of staff working within a CQC regulated setting that wants to understand CQC regulations and learn practical ways to implement them to improve their service.
The community will be able to access over 39 videos and downloadable resources, each explaining the meaning behind each of CQC’s new quality statements, and learn how to show your service is compliant. Furthermore, as part of the Gold and Platinum membership you will be able to network with other members of the community and Platinum members will also be able to book 1:1 with me to have any of their questions answered.
By joining a community that has 24 hour access to videos that explain all that CQC requires, you will never feel uninformed. Paula gives a lot of practical tips on how to incorporate good practice easily, giving bitesize answers so you are not overwhelmed. If you choose gold or platinum membership there will be a chance to discuss with colleagues and Paula how it’s going in your service.
By understanding the key questions and quality statements, you will have all the knowledge you need to prepare for a CQC inspection. Having bitesize educational videos available 24/7 there’s never a time you need to be puzzled about what you should do next.
Members of the community will be invited to a members social event twice a year to meet and celebrate achievements and encourage each other. Gold and platinum members will have a chance to meet each other at monthly Team’s meetings.
This community is there for anyone who wants to improve quality and grow in their role. Whether you are a new carer and don’t quite understand why the manager does so many audits, or you are a registered manager wanting quick answers and suggestions for improvement, this is the place for you. 24/7 access to videos in your own time helps you develop at your pace.
You may be very new, trying to turn around an inadequate home, or even an experienced manager but need a chat about something specific to help you gain an ‘Outstanding’ in your next inspection.
Whatever your need there is a tier of membership for you.
Guest videos will be uploaded ad hoc for members to have a new face and different topics from time to time. In the gold membership there will be a monthly workshop via teams to discuss a current social care topic and answer community questions. Platinum membership will include an hour 1:1 with Paula each month to discuss individual issues and develop personal service goals.
Click on the link for the level of membership you require and follow the instructions. If you later realise that you might need more resources or help you can always upgrade your membership or set up a meeting with me to discuss your requirements.
